VERY strong for its size!

I've had a protracted struggle with not being able to resist buying just about every little knick knack or camera accessory that came my way. In fact, I've filled two large drawers with irresistible "junk" that promises to solve problems I may or may not have at the moment. While I very rarely refer back to the gadget collection (because something bought 7 years ago MAY work for another purpose), I rarely keep anything. Recently, after reading a review on the photography forum, I often bought "Moman Mini-Tripod". When opening the package (and making room in one of the drawers at the same time), the small tripod slipped out of the package and hit the floor with a dull thud. I picked it up and started playing around with the legs and the red cap. I checked it out for a minute and then went to get my camera. Instead of ordering a matching ball head, I attached it to the underside of the camera with a tripod screw. WOW! It seemed incredibly durable! Maybe I ordered something useful! It was already dark outside so I played with him inside. I had to attach both the battery grip and my longest and heaviest 50-500mm zoom lens (the Sigma "Bigma"!). A bit heavy, but other than that, this new gadget held up that combo without breaking a sweat! That was a week ago and in that time I found a ball head that fits well and a small carrying case that allows it to easily fit in my regular camera bag. I tested and re-tested this little wonder last week and it has yet to show any weakness! If you're tired of lugging around a big tripod "just in case", GET IT! If you can find a solid surface to place this little marvel on, you'll be fine! In addition, its small size and low profile allow it to "hide” from the wind for the most part. Take it while you can!
