My car has a P0455 trouble code which means there is a fuel vapor leak. The problem could be with the gas cap, the canister solenoid, or the EVAP purge valve. I replaced the gas cap and the problem persists. Then I assumed the problem must be with the canister solenoid or the EVAP purge valve. I haven't run any tests to find out which one is causing the problem. I just bought the solenoid assembly and purge valve together to get free shipping. First I replaced the solenoid valve and it was pretty easy to do. But the problem remained, then I replaced the purge valve and the problem was there.
