Review on Belkin F5U218VMOB USB 2 0 Thumb by Sam Lee

It was a great little center; I plugged it directly into my computer (no extension cord) with the touchpad, camera, and external hard drive attached and had no problems to report. But this week, the metal piece that connects to my computer started to detach from the hub and then literally fell apart (the metal connector pulled out and got stuck in my computer's USB drive, and one of the pins inside fell out). Had this hub for about 11 months. Unsatisfied! Recommendation: When you buy this hub, please use an extension cable instead of connecting the hub to your computer directly. So if something breaks, it's the cord and not the expensive bushing!
