Review on Jasper 400J Model 400 Router Circle Cutting Jig: Precision Tool for Perfect Circular Cuts by Kyle Lawrence

After reading a few reviews I was a little worried it might break. So far I've only made four holes with it. They were 6-1/4" and 7-1/2" from 1-1/2" thick pine, so not hardwood, but quite thick. I made several passes of 1/4" or more each. Set up was pretty easy but took a little time because I was careful The center pin doesn't come out of the guide but I don't think I need it All the tolerances are extremely tight I got it with an inverted 1/4 Used a -"Whiteside bit which cuts very clean. I removed the chips on each pass. When it got deep they were quite tightly packed and I had to use a screwdriver to loosen them. I suppose it will relieve the next frame. It's amazing and very accurate. Just take your time, read and follow the instructions and don't try to compress anything. I made sure to double sided tape the whole piece to make sure after nothing moves the average.
