Review on Kidde P4010ACS-W Wire-Free Interconnect Hardwired Smoke Detector with 10-Year Battery Backup, Voice Alert, and Intelligent Technology by Earl Ton

I have 11 of these devices, wired and battery powered. I started installing in 2017. Sometimes my batteries fail. Kidde provided excellent customer service and replaced any defective unit. One thing to keep in mind when setting up is to use a central detector as the "master". Then use it to connect to any other 4010 Series wireless detector. Failure to do this will result in connection problems. Otherwise they work as advertised. A color-coded LED shows you which device is the initiator. One thing I'd like to add to Kidde is a smart home interface that announces which detector is the initiator.
