Had to dig three more holes for 4x4 posts to replace my 6ft fence. My floor sucks. Like palm-sized stones. Anything less than 3 inches in diameter and this thing just threw them away with no problem. Any more than that and it will stand still or touch the edge of the cliff (which I was expecting). Then I dug them up with my handy metal pole. This thing was amazing and quickly got through at least the first 12 inch holes. My holes weren't wide enough for the drill bit and auger to fit deeper. If I had made the holes wider it would have worked, but then more concrete was needed. It was a lot stronger than I expected for the price. I plan to use all of my bulbs I just bought for planting and I'm glad it takes about 4 minutes to plant a dozen bulbs! I used my standard hard drill with a regular 18v battery and it was easy for me (a German woman) to handle.
