The ball insert wore out too quickly

The rope was ok, but the plastic insert in the ball was worn out, there are scratches from the rope. Used once for about 30 minutes. Tried 2 days later and the ball barely went down the rope. The insert in the bullet should be aluminum or some other metal to prevent this. The first day we used it it was amazing. My son has learned to make softer turns and improve contact. He (and I) were very disappointed on the second day when we tried to use it and it didn't work. This is the only downside we found, but it's a big one.
