Excellent lock with many options

I bought this lock because of the RFID function, my elderly mother's hands are shaking and sometimes it takes 5 minutes to enter a PIN or even can't get a PIN to unlock plug in the door. I use a Zwave/Zigbee Yale pin lock, this is my second smart lock and I can say I'm really impressed with the lock for its features and price. I got this when Amazon had a $30 discount coupon, but I'd honestly buy it again if a coupon wasn't an option again. you should know that first. I didn't read all the product information before purchasing, what is important to some people is that this lock needs to drill a hole in the door to support the lock (I missed it in the photo). There is a drill in the box for drilling everything that works very well. (I ended up assembling the lock before installing it in the door to test its operation and if I liked its features before installing it permanently). Download the TTLock app to set up the lock. I have an Android phone and the app is well designed. Overview The lock itself looks good and feels decently constructed, the lock movement is smooth and doesn't jam internally at all. After drilling the hole, installing the lock is pretty easy. The kit includes all the hardware required for installation, as well as 4 AA batteries and two RFID cards. The lock communicates via Bluetooth to set up the lock and use its features. Pairing the lock was very simple and easy, I was able to set up two fingerprints, a 4 digit PIN and an RFID card in less than 5 minutes. I can honestly say that the application is really fantastic for the management and functionality of the lock, which definitely makes this one that I would recommend to anyone. There are many more features to this lock and app that I personally won't use, but it's nice to have the option for them, you can create and share an admin key through the app so people in the house can use the lock can control too. I don't plan on using my phone to lock/unlock the door frequently, but if I did I'd probably get a Wi-Fi gateway so I could do it at 33+ feet, on the Bluetooth is limited. The actual door opening functions with fingerprint, RFID card and passcode are very fast and greatly improve the speed of the old Yale lock. Final Remarks. Currently this lock is installed about a week ago and I have had no problems. I live with him in Arizona so I'm curious to see how he handles our summer heat. I will give an update later (current status 11/2020) about the summer months and how the lock works. If you are thinking of getting rid of old locks with a key I would say do it, no need to look for keys when you get home it was amazing.
