Review on 🚗 Mishimoto X-Line Performance Aluminum Radiator for Subaru WRX/STI 2001-2007 by James Crofton

If you are looking for a radiator upgrade I will definitely consider this. The device was well packaged and arrived undamaged. Installation: The only thing that stands out is that the stock fan bracket barely touches the heat shield on the passenger side header. This is the thickest version. A few hundred miles later, very slight relief appeared on the shield in the fan mount. This isn't a problem as the stock fan mounts are quite thick. The relief is 1/32 inch. Everything stays nice and cool. I have not seen the engine exceed the 192 target since installation, not on a dyno or 3.5 miles on my mountain road. Excellent value for money and quality. I had a different brand of aluminum racing cooler and can't tell what the difference is in performance or fit and finish. If you're worried that this block is "cheap", don't worry. This is a solid block.
