Bought for my tech team to use with laptops. Works great on Windows 10 and 7, seems to work great on CentOS and Redhat Linux too. We've worked hard testing EMC, NetApp, and Cisco hardware with serial ports, and it's great and easy to slip into a laptop bag. You can multitask more easily by running multiple serial connections to multiple systems using Putty or Hyperterminal etc. I advise you to determine which comport is assigned to each serial connection head in Device Manager as it is confusing. We label each serial head with a number that corresponds to the COM port assigned by the operating system. After installing the drivers, each "head" is assigned a comport that doesn't change.
