Review on πŸ” HVLYSTORY M181 5 Thread Replacement Stream - Enhanced Searchability Version by Dean Wildfang

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works just OK. for fittings

Once installed (not TOO complicated if you have a vise or long pipe/strap wrench) the first few fills of the Sodastream tank were great. (Drive slowly with a full 20lb tank from Airgas or your local gas supplier). Filling valve ":sodastream" in the Sodastream machine. I found a large 20lb after 2 full refills. Tank, this Hvlystory valve is working less efficiently. After the first 5 or so 60 liter soda tanks are filled, the spring mechanism in the Hvlvstory valves (I bought 2 so if one tank was empty I could fill another) seems too strong to allow 60 liter to fill tanks with reduced pressure. with lots of gas, which means that with 10 or more pounds of Co2 gas in your big 20-liter tank, you can put enough gas in soda tanks, maybe just 10 or 20 percent of the volume allowed in the original 60-liter Sodastream -tanks. This means that even if you freeze the cylinders for 24 hours, you'll only get enough gas for the small liter glass bottles that go into the Sodastream machine. This becomes a real headache in "le derriere" IF you get what I mean. Soda Stream is smart. Any NEW car (mine is 6 months old and had a penguin before that as I prefer my seltzer stored and drunk in glass rather than plastic). And the old original "thin pin" tank valves will not work in newer machines. . SO BE CAREFUL IF THESE VALVES ARE TO BE USED IN NEW OR OLD MACHINES. Hey guys I spend a small fortune of time, energy and money buying and using stuff here on Amazon so if this review was helpful. Know what to do! Thanks very much!

Pros
