Edit: Although I checked the input line with a meter between the input end of the 1/8" stereo cable and the circuit board, it looks like the "Stereo vs Mono" issue described below is a connection issue on the bed. I think the input jack is too far from the outside edge of the amplifier board, which makes it impossible to connect the stereo input properly. I'll desolder the input jack and connect the input directly to the pads - I'll "edit" again if the amplifier board ends up being mono. Left and right channel output image; when listening to "nuanced" music, some elements of the music are simply missing. So it doesn't even "sum" the input signal through the outputs (it would still be mono, but better than in this situation). ht or left channel and amplify that side of the input through both output channels. I checked the 1/8" input jack with a meter and connected a 1/8" to 1/8" TRS cable and found the jack to be standard so it mates with the circuit wiring inside the board should match. If you go to the company's website, there is a customer question about whether this amp is stereo or mono that the company hasn't answered.
