This product is not suitable for hardcore jewelry such as punching holes in nickel and especially quarter coins, but it is only good for light-weight materials such as scrapbooking stuff to punch. . The caliber isn't strong enough to go through thick metal. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to make thin and light things, but it's even a bit difficult because it tore me up.
