Great solution to protect your steps and help your pet
I recently replaced the carpet on my stairs to hardwood. I bought these covers to protect my hardwood stairs from the Labrador's big claws and also help him go up and down the stairs. I was really nervous about anything with an adhesive backing because I didn't want to ruin the wood stain. But these tread covers don't use adhesive! It's great and sticky. I think it uses static cling to adhere to the steps. They did come folded, but I just took some time to straighten them for an evening. Then for installation, I put shoes as weights on the parts that curl. Definitely recommend.
