I bought a set of these unbreakable stemless TaZa wine glasses to use on boats and camping trips. They are comfortable to hold and a good size - small enough for a glass of wine or a healthy portion of juice for breakfast. The plastic is thin but strong, making them look sleek rather than bulky. The rims are polished on the outside, so it is pleasant to drink from. The inner edge of the rim isn't as polished - it doesn't have burrs, but it's not as soft as the outside; but it is not unpleasant to drink from it. The only criticism of the online description is that they are advertised as 'weighted' which I think would be a plus if used on a boat. I thought they might be more stable if placed on a table or seat while gently rocking at anchor. They're not weighted at all, and while they're as stable as any other plastic cup on a sturdy surface, they don't really have that extra bulge at the bottom (like good glassware) that would make their base heavier. So I don't know why this statement is made. The fact that they don't have a stem makes them sturdier than the plastic cups I've used; but any plastic glass without a base is just as stable as this one. The price is reasonable so I would probably buy them again but not because of the "weighted bases". In my opinion, these are just comfortable, beautiful plastic wine glasses. Other options are probably just as good.
