I absolutely love these curtains. They keep light out 100z. The backing is black plus I have blinds beneath then even though their not needed. The burgundy is such a rich color. The material is high quality. Most blackout curtains material are glossy or shiny. For me personally I think it’s tacky. I can’t begin to express how nice and efficient these curtains are. Being winter and 20 F weather outside these insulate the room. The warm feels warmer after removing the previous curtains and putting these up. Most importantly they keep the room very dark when I’m battling my migraines
