These are wonderful. They are liners but nice enough to hang alone. The material is silky on the front & the black backing is great. They keep out all light, deaden the noice & my house is cooler with them up now. They arrived quickly and hung them right out of the package. Had comments that I don't need to hang drapes now; just going to hang some sheers over them. Way cheaper than drapes were going to cost and I bought two sets. Highly recommend!

Well OMG! These curtains do the trick. Absolutely 100% blocks out the day light of any kind. They are heavy so make sure you have fixtures secure in your walls. I am hoping they will also cut down on the outside traffic noise. I bet they will help. The color red is a true bright red. I was hoping for a wine, or oxblood red, but these may be ok once I put a grey pair over them. The rod pocket is maybe 3". So a large rod should work. The sun rises right in our bedroom windows. We like to sleep in and it’s very hard in the summer when the sun is shining before 6 am. These curtains make the room so dark I can’t tell what time it is without looking at a clock. Sometimes it makes me late for work though because I don’t want to wake up. They also help with keeping the room cool on hot days if you keep them closed to keep the sun from baking your room!

I absolutely love these curtains. They keep light out 100z. The backing is black plus I have blinds beneath then even though their not needed. The burgundy is such a rich color. I was super impressed; no light gets through this curtain at all. But it does go around it.Since the curtains ship as a package of two skinnier pieces, it seems as though they're meant to be used together on the same window (which I have to do anyway, since one isn't large enough). I really love these curtains! They look great. Soft material. Block out most of the light. If they were just a bit longer you wouldn’t see the light at the bottom. I ordered these in the Royal blue color and they are beautiful. The material is nice and soft and kind of slick without being shiny. Definitely light blocking, which for a fellow shift worker is a must! I looked at many other brands on here and decided one this one and I’m very happy I did. These curtains are extra wide, 2 curtains come in a package. They are total blackout, exactly what I hoped for! The fabric is smooth and nice, and they hang beautifully and "ripple" nicer on the rod than other drapery fabrics. And the price is REALLY good!

I work the graveyard shift so sleeping during the day when that giant ball of light is in the sky can be quite tricky. Even with blinds, blankets and regular curtains, light still finds its way into my slumber area. I decided it was time to find some black out curtains and I stumbled upon these.
