Efficient and efficient. I will never grind again!

First, the product itself is simple, the instructions are clear and simple, and the controls are clear. That alone is a big plus. Now for usage. I bought a heat gun to remove paint from areas on my porch that a sander couldn't reach, nor could I just use sandpaper without removing my knuckles. I started at a lower temperature and liked that the display told me when the set temperature was reached and was amazed at how quickly it went. I applied heat with the included spatula and the paint which is 4 coats over the original 20 year old base coat came off immediately, it was so quick and effective I was really surprised. How to scrape butter off bread. I was glad I didn't have to mess with dirty sanding, I hate dust! And it was a lot easier. I will seriously use this instead of grinding anytime! Love this hair dryer, it was everything a tool should be, it made the project easier. While I was at it and marveling at the ease of use, I decided to smooth out the chip in the composite porch swing, which was extremely rough. I started at 200* and then gradually increased as I wasn't sure what the temp would need to be for it to melt enough for me to smooth it out. I stopped at 800* and completed the task, the chip is smoothed now, but otherwise nothing negative happened. A NOTICE. I used to try sanding this spot but it was too rough, it ripped the sandpaper too much. Again efficient and effective. Next came the latch that cut off the garage door handle. My father once told me that sometimes heating a stuck screw loosens it. So the part of the bolt you have to screw in and out with the wrench was the part that sheared off and I tried to pry it out with the wrench on the protruding part of the threads. I could not move him . So I took a heat gun, set it to 600* and heated the bolt on both sides and then tried to use a wrench to loosen the bolt for good! I look forward to using this heat gun in the future as it is so easy to use and effective. It's definitely very powerful and has made my tasks easier and I've been able to complete them faster.
