My son lives in Chicago and his water is heavily chlorinated. We tried both filter options (blue/green and white) to see if one worked. He said the blue-green filter offers exceptional water pressure (which is often sacrificed to filter water) and is very easy to install with no leaks. The water quality is "solid, but not perfect. Perfectly drinkable." These filters are reasonably priced and if they really do hold 100 gallons each I would say it's a good buy for a faucet filter. However, for heavily chlorinated water we recommend the white filter variety. Also, the white filter was easy to install and caulk had a little less water pressure (but only a little) and removed more (but not all) of the chlorine taste from the water. He tried them in both his kitchen and his bathroom and in both cases the install was easy. The right filter for you depends on what's in your water, but we recommend trying these filters.
