This mouthwash is great even my son uses it. I haven't had many ulcers since switching from Tom's of Maine toothpaste and mouthwash. Unfortunately, I used to get them monthly. It's either toothpaste (I use neem) and mouthwash or I've changed my stress levels or something, who knows. When an ulcer does develop the healing time is definitely minimal and I find the combination of ingredients in this mouthwash helps it heal faster! My son had to scrape the gum off the tooth because it was excess gum or something and it bled when brushing his teeth. The dentist said you should brush your teeth gently and, if possible, gargle with salt water to speed healing. This Sea Salt Mouthwash did it! It healed instantly and never caused him pain or bleeding again. Yes, this product has been recalled, which products are no longer being recalled? The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is constantly pulling products off shelves, banning ingredients and requiring companies to change how they're manufactured. Now everything is even worse. Just look at the bans on certain ingredients in baby cereals and colored candies that your child is likely to eat on a daily basis. In my eyes it wasn't that important. Definitely not worth a star. Despite this, this product is still a great product. UPDATE: I haven't tried the 'new' formula yet as it will save us on our next subscription and shipping. I hope we find it as effective as the 'old' formula. However, judging by the ingredient list, this is just a novelty bottle.
