Tested against a certified dual-band 3dB antenna. They have excellent gain in the 2.4GHz band (at or near the stated gain). However, on the 5GHz band, the measured dB transfer with this antenna was IDENTICAL WITHOUT THE ANTENNA! In short, it does absolutely nothing in the 5GHz band. Lesson Learned - Save time and money by buying branded antennas (like Linksys, Asus, etc.). Too many of these cheap antenna manufacturers just put labels on what they think will sell the most antennas.
