Review on Airdog A6SABD425 98 5 04 Cummins 15 17Psi by Jon Ford

I ordered this for my truck and was very excited despite all the issues I found during the quality control research. and customer service. I've just started installing and wanted to share my experience to help customers not make the same mistake I did. At first I wanted to change all quick disconnects to JIC style because I always had trouble opening old push to connect fittings. So put the baffle to be installed in a wood vise to remove the push-in fitting and see what threads it has so I can order a JIC fitting of the correct specs. When I removed the fitting all the threads came out with it. Bulkhead and quick release destroyed. When I asked about my problem I was told it was my fault and I shouldn't have unscrewed the fitting. Since it was my fault, I was told that Airdog would sell me the entire module for another hundred dollars. The operator hung up when I expressed my opinion that the parts were defective. This was my argument: 1. Threaded fittings should be able to be removed and rethreaded according to industry standard threads and their purpose.2. There was no indication in the instructions that this particular fitting should not be unthreaded due to this issue. I would like to warn other customers to exercise extreme caution when purchasing from airdog and be prepared that the company does not endorse their product. Buyers be careful. I believe this bulkhead design is flawed in order to make the product as cheap as possible, rendering the product unusable. I believe Airdog should have endorsed their product instead of doing so. I will be turning to a third party for the rest of my installation. Needs based on my experience with poor quality parts and Airdog's customer service.
