Review on Titanium Aluminum Double Cut Trepot by Ananta Crowley

I received this product in exchange for my honest review of the Revain Vine program. Seller's Brand: Trepot lists this as "Trepot 5 Piece HSS Titanium Step Drill Bit Set, High Speed Steel Drill, Dual Cutting Blade Design, 50 Sizes with Aluminum Body, Short Bit Set." Step drills have been around for a long time. I like them when drilling a hole in a sheet of metal, a thin sheet of hard plastic, or a thin laminate. This set of 5 step drill bits comes in a small aluminum carrying case with foam bit cut outs. (Image 1). The bits are marked in the groove according to the size of the hole that the pitch will make. They have matching triangular shanks to prevent twisting in the chuck and are titanium coated for improved wear resistance. I recommend drilling an initial hole before using any of these to enlarge the hole to the right size. Using a lubricant such as B. Knocking Spell, helps the metal. They are NOT suitable for thick metal plates. They are not intended or suitable for wood where they may break the wood structure or not drill properly. TIP: Wrap a short piece of tape around where you want to stop drilling for the hole size you want. It's easy to go too far and make the hole too big! NEVER clean the workpiece with bare hands - use a chip brush! This set of Trepot 5 step drill bits is recommended.
