We love this cut. We've used it in the dishwasher with no real problems. The little beads on the ends of the wires are really sticky, so let's wash our hands quickly. We've had it for over a year now and it's holding up well. My mom used it at a party and she liked it so much I bought it for her as a gift. Wire settings aren't perfect, but we use a wide one and cut each slice as thick or thin as we want. You don't have to press the cheese against the roller if you don't want it to get so thick. As for customer service. We broke our cables and tried to order more but nothing came up. I emailed the company and they brought me spare wires from the Netherlands and sent them to me. Email me about the process along the way. That's customer service you don't get these days. Now I hate when we have to change the knife or adjust the roller. That is hard. I can do it, but I worry if my mother (to whom I give such a gift) will be able to. All in all we like it very much.
