I first connected the DDR-63 to my home network via WI-FI, and in many cases I had the same ones Problems with internet radio. Users have already described (resets the connection, stops playback). After a bit of troubleshooting, I found that DDR-63 was not handling WPA2 security correctly. Sometime after installation, WI-FI gets an error status and no matter what you do, it doesn't stay connected to your home network via WI-FI. I hope Sangean engineers read this and release a firmware fix. I'm sure they should already be aware of this condition as downstairs many people have complained about WI-FI not working. To work around this problem, I bought a 50 foot ethernet cable, connected the DDR-63 via ethernet and turned off the wifi. It was like day and night. The radio works great, connects to the internet in seconds and continuously plays beautiful internet radio music! So bottom line, this is the recommended buy if you want to connect this radio directly to your router with an ethernet cable. If you need a WI-FI connection because you want to place this radio in a different room than your router, WI-FI "buyers beware" will not work. Alternatively, if you have a SONOS player you can just plug it into the back and everything works fine, or you can set up a second router and connect to it. I'm a happy customer. If you don't use WI-FI and can use a wired ethernet connection instead, I think you'll love this radio. The radio has a great sound and plays internet radio perfectly. Note, however, that the built-in WI-FI does not work with WPA2 security.
