These pans are the perfect size for dividing a recipe and freezing in half. Since it's just my husband and I, most of the recipes are too big to eat in a few days. I cook the entire recipe, cooking one half in a regular 8x8 pan and freezing the other half in one of those pans. I cover it with plastic wrap and foil and then freeze it. When I'm ready to cook my food, I let it thaw in the fridge overnight, then place the foil pan on a baking sheet. After removing the plastic wrap and foil, I cook the necessary time. They are perfect for freezing and stacking to save space in my freezer.
