My 2013 Mac Pro's idle temperature dropped 2°C to 3°C, not a big deal, but the heatsink did a good job of keeping the temperature within reasonable limits when I did the stress test. (Unigine Heaven). There are no instructions in the kit, but they are not needed, installation is quite easy. I had to remove the warranty sticker to ensure it made proper contact with my M.2 NVME, which didn't excite me. I saved the sticker by sticking it to a piece of wax paper (to make it easy to peel off if needed) and putting it in the box the heatsinks came in.
