First, this shank will not work with a smaller bit head. I bought this to see if it would work with my smaller Malco that I bought, but the part that the head sits on is physically larger. However the second reason I bought it was the speed, wearing two bits for four head sizes was a breeze. To me, this equates to an 11-1 screwdriver for your 1/4 stroke. The magnet can be easily cleaned and can act as a magnetic gripping tool in a very strong grip, ask me how I know. also durable metal. Since I work more with zips, I don't care because it's faster due to the size of the doula.
