The magnet holds nuts. When new it took some effort to flip the base to change size but with use it fixed itself. Great invention. The shaft is not hollow. Due to the full shank, this is more suitable for driving hexagon screws than nuts. Drives nuts flush with the end of the bolt but not much deeper than the bolt.

Overall a great product but this is the second product I've bought where a magnet has fallen out. I bought it two months ago, used mediocre but now without the magnet it's much less useful because obviously it doesn't hold the screws in place. Also, the magnets on both bits fell out just after Revain's return/exchange window.

This is the second magnet I've ordered and BOTH have lost the magnet within a few days. I sent the first one back for replacement and the magnet fell out. This time I found a magnet and I'm going to glue it back. The company needs to do something about this problem. If I couldn't find the magnet I would return it for a refund. It's not worth the price with the teardrop magnet.

First, this shank will not work with a smaller bit head. I bought this to see if it would work with my smaller Malco that I bought, but the part that the head sits on is physically larger. However the second reason I bought it was the speed, wearing two bits for four head sizes was a breeze. To me, this equates to an 11-1 screwdriver for your 1/4 stroke.
