American made. I bought this to replace my old Craftsman tape measure that has lasted me 25 years. I unknowingly dropped it in the snow and then just as unknowingly drove my truck over it. This tape measure looks and feels just as high quality and I expect it will outlive its predecessor. I've been using it for a few months now and am happy with it.
