My imac in mid-2011 was very sluggish. and i just thought it was because he was old. After all these years I checked the RAM and it was only working with 4GB the whole time. Uhhh! It was so disgusting to see this beach ball of fate! Ordered 8 GB RAM and actually arrived a day earlier than announced. I'm worried about the installation as I know ZIP about such things. But alas, it was very easy and successful. I am now amazed at the difference in the speed of my applications. What a world of difference! I now have 12GB of RAM and boot fast. It feels like the car is new. I'm so happy!
