This is a really good option for an unobtrusive and cheap recorder. If you're making a device that doesn't support 4k capture, you absolutely must use 4k passthrough, which Mirabox appears to have done. I've never had a single hiccup with it. I plugged it in, Windows installed the drivers automatically, and a few minutes later I had it flashed via OBS. As well as.
