Bought this for my house when the amazing kids arrived. They are between 3 and 6 years old. I have a bad habit of not checking the measurements. When the box arrived it was smaller than I expected, but I built it anyway. I had my 5 year old granddaughter sit and she fit great, just couldn't sit all 4 at once, more like two at a time. This is also a very cute table and the umbrella makes it even prettier. I'm still happy with it and can't wait for them to run out and see them play outside, but if your kids are older you might want to consider going up a size.
