I usually say glass is king, from bottles to electronic screens, but to my thief, steel is king. Two glass thieves smashed me, but this thief was indestructible and as easy to disinfect as I can imagine for this huge creature. However, I have big fingers like a mortal and had to squeeze the top to maintain proper suction. If you don't like it, poke a small hole in the middle of the cork and stick it on top; this is a working kludge. The bulb doesn't fit snugly enough to get the job done (and the thought of pouring wine on it just gives me goosebumps).
