Sorry that was DOA. I think I received the 500w converter already returned. Looked a little shabby, but not too bad. Given the totally unsuitable packaging (the original manufacturer's box, not the Revain mailbox - that was fine), I'm not really surprised that the replacement fuse was smashed and the included adapter ripped into several pieces. I have to admit I would return it even if it worked - it smelled awful and it was very strong. I had to wait a few days before I could take it to a UPS store to return it and even though it was in the box I could still smell it. One more note - this thing is HEAVY! I already have a few heavy duty converters, having traveled back and forth between the US, UK, Australia and Hong Kong over the last few years, but this was by far the heaviest I've had. This isn't a problem if you plan on powering a device that's always in the same place, but moving it around is problematic.
