CE Certified step-up and step-down AC voltage transformer converts from 110V up to 220V or from 200/220/240V down to 110V. (Please note a voltage converter does NOT change the frequency, in another word, what goes in is what comes out, either 50 Hz or 60Hz). 500 watts Maximum Load Capacity (MLC), most suitable and cost-effective for devices such as game consoles, LCD TVs with screen size less than 55”, desktop computers, and devices with the Maximum Power Consumption (MPC) between 200 and 350 watts or 1/3-1/2 HP (Horsepower) for motorized devices. Simultaneous Triple Output: 5 VDC(USB), 110 VAC for devices that require 100-120V and 220 VAC for devices that require 200-240V. Great Voltage Converter

I've used these voltage converters in Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa and they've never let me down. Performance seems pretty clean even on unstable mains, although there might be something to be said if you want to hook up some sort of power supply after this converter if you really want clean AC/AC waves. A power surge will blow the fuse, so have a few spares on hand, but I find a blown fuse preferable to a blown unit. I always use a strip of red tape across the 220 jack so I don't accidentally…

Pros
  • Fuses all ranges with two spare fuses and an adapter
Cons
  • Security

Easy setup, reliable power to turn on and off

The Step-down transformer is just what you need Match any input voltage to any required output. In my case, I am stepping up the voltage from 120VAC in the US to 220V in the UK. Very easy setup, just select the input voltage on the back of the transformer and the universal 220 volt socket on the front will power any 220V AC plug. The only thing to watch out for is to make sure your transformer is rated for more watts than the device you're plugging into it. There is a USB port for charging. I…

Pros
  • Simultaneous triple output: 5VDC (USB), 110VAC for devices that require 100-120V, and 220VAC for devices that require 200-240V
Cons
  • Some bugs

Not good. at Power Accessories

Sorry that was DOA. I think I received the 500w converter already returned. Looked a little shabby, but not too bad. Given the totally unsuitable packaging (the original manufacturer's box, not the Revain mailbox - that was fine), I'm not really surprised that the replacement fuse was smashed and the included adapter ripped into several pieces. I have to admit I would return it even if it worked - it smelled awful and it was very strong. I had to wait a few days before I could take it to a UPS…

Pros
  • CE certified and 3 year limited manufacturer warranty
Cons
  • Not all will fit

A good product! Works great for our Xbox and a small blender!

I never thought that I would need a voltage converter. I mean, most electronics these days support universal voltage, right? Well, Xbox One apparently not. My roommate brought his Xbox One from Europe and it couldn't work properly here. After some research I think we need a transformer. Of course there are cheaper options, but for an electrician quality, stability and durability always come first. So we went with this one as it seems to have a long history of reputation and a reasonable price…
