Works well but not with current software

At first it seemed to work fine when just using CarPlay but I soon found that when I went back and tried using my radio app it kept coming back crashed and you couldn't play the radio in the background while using CarPlay. The solution was to download the 2019 software that I found on another website. Once I did this the radio wouldn't turn off and would play in the background when using Google Maps in CarPlay.
