Better value for money than these disposable yellow pin gauges.

I bought this after blowing through some cheap "yellow" measuring pins (rectangular ones sold under a dozen brand names that all look the same). They just stop working after a few months. , without counting those that are not immediately operational. They're mostly semi-disposable, but the cost of buying replacements mounts quickly. This counter is solidly built and holds up very well. In use, it settles to a stable reading fairly quickly, with no drift or spikes in readings. Calibration is a bit trickier as it requires three different standards, one of which has a pH of 9.18 instead of the usual 10.0 standard. After that, however, this meter makes its own temperature corrections โ€“ and it doubles as a thermometer, very handy when you need to capture that data as well as pH. The electrode cap is sealed with an O-ring, making it easier to keep the bulb hydrated, which may partially explain the longer lifespan.
