Great product, best customer service

I bought this pH meter for indoor hydroponics. The calibration was simple and clear. The gauge was easy to use and seemed accurate and consistent. Much better than a cheap $10 meter. I broke the glass electrode 2 months after purchase. (The probe is well protected, but I still managed to bang it against a hard surface) I emailed the manufacturer and asked for a replacement electrode. They respond quickly and say they cannot supply a spare but would like to send me a brand new replacement meter…

Better value for money than these disposable yellow pin gauges.

I bought this after blowing through some cheap "yellow" measuring pins (rectangular ones sold under a dozen brand names that all look the same). They just stop working after a few months. , without counting those that are not immediately operational. They're mostly semi-disposable, but the cost of buying replacements mounts quickly. This counter is solidly built and holds up very well. In use, it settles to a stable reading fairly quickly, with no drift or spikes in readings. Calibration is a…

I've been using this reliably for over a year. Batteries replaced once. Dropped in the water multiple times, still works. I have kept the calibration fluid in jars and have been reusing them for over a year. I see a lot of negative feedback from people who don't understand that this is a temperature calibrated pH meter and therefore it takes some time for the sensor to reach equilibrium temperature with the solution. Yes, you may have to wait 5 minutes to get an accurate reading if you take it…

Unreliable and inconsistent

I have had this meter since October 2019. Many of the reviews I read at the time were strongly positive and encouraged me to make this purchase. I need a better quality gauge than the ubiquitous yellow digital gauges. The instrument comes with 2 sets of salts for the 3 point calibration and I used both. The calibration process is a bit like PITA, but I don't think I would mind as long as the gauge is reliable. the measured pH remained at 6.9. Then I added more drops. 6.9. Then I added more…

Revised. good for analyzers

I would give five stars but the temp setting didn't change from c to f but as for the PH it was great for a second a calibration. I will use my finger to check the water temp for my green kids but Fahrenheit would be fine. The first time he tested correctly with General Hydroponics 7.0 and the rest. The meter went down quickly and didn't fall when I added PH down, it comes back and I fell back to the old $13 I had saved. I can give it another chance, but I ride plants too much to play shoddy…

Fast, Accurate, and *EASY*

I have a lot (and I mean A LOT) of water testing experience. In my years as a pool owner and decades of owning both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, I have run hundreds of thousands of water tests on more parameters than I can list here. I have used test strips, titration tests, probes, meters. You name it, I did it. I received this gauge and read the instructions very quickly. I don't know why someone said the manual isn't easy to read, but. Check out the grammar in this review and I think…
