***Installation Tips

I ordered a Ride-Rite Air Spring System from Firestone, which was FedEx shipped [box was slightly damaged on the outside, internally fine]. Ordered Sunday, received Wednesday, installed Thursday. My 2017 Ford F-150 V8 SuperCrew has a 4x4 cab. No drilling or special tools are required. Also the air hose mount is not a drill. You will need a 9/16" end wrench, 9/16" socket and extensions. The KIT has everything you need. 2 hours. Helpful Tips for You - *** The 2017 fender bolt has a 1/2" head, with a short extension needed to remove. One bolt in stop. This hole is used on the top bracket. ** * Have Have a small magnet? Keep a small magnet handy to grab them (unless you have 9" long alien triple-jointed fingers) to hold them in place while you pick up the bolt and screw in.** *If I had a third hand it would help.*** I used a small bead of silicone caulk to hold the frame hole bracket in place. They go into the frame and insert through one hole in the frame. For the other It took about an hour on site. This involved passing air ducts and then a good 90 degree bracket for Schrader valves that mount to the hitch cross member.I rate my mechanical ability a 7 out of 10. If you do this to yourself rate over 3, you can do it. It was easier on the lift in the garage. [then it would be a 1.5/2 hour job.] Seriously, no drilling. The only things I had on hand were 9/16" silicone tools, a 1/2" nut and a small magnet, which helped a lot. I couldn't have done it without a magnet - well, I could have done it, but maybe there would have been swearing and tears and a few more hours of work.
