There weren't many reviews to check but I took a chance anyway because the set had everything I wanted - coarse filter, fine mesh filter, large funnel and a smaller one Funnel Screws into the larger funnel to accommodate smaller holes. All elements have to work together and they work. I no longer need 3 hands to hold the filter, funnel and container upright while pouring oil! The large funnel fits perfectly on wide-necked ball cans. A smaller funnel would have been worth the price in itself. It's made from a chunky but stretchy plastic that fits comfortably in gallon milk churns. It stays upright and doesn't tip over like the metal ones I had. The holes in the course filter are just the right size - not too big and not too small, and the screen is very thin. I used this kit to filter over 2 gallons of oil from my Masterbuilt Butterball Turkey Fryer. This is a winner and well worth the price.
