Review on Axiom Basket Rear Ractop Market by Chris Dildine

So this basket is really good - solid construction, fine metal mesh, thanks to which small parts don't fall through. In addition, it looks stylish. The hardware they give you to mount didn't make any sense at all, there didn't seem to be a way to get it working and attaching it to a rear bike rack. (And there are no instructions) After playing with this for 20+ minutes I gave up and just used 6 velcro straps to attach it and it works great. So a star deduction for that. At the time of my purchase it was priced at $48.95 which I think is overpriced for this product given the lack of good installation options. Was going to take another star off for this but apparently they lowered the price to $42.95 which I think is more reasonable. Disappointed that I paid the most a week ago but I'm happy for future buyers so I'm leaving one star. The basket is a nice size (one of the largest I could find on Amazon) and easily fits in my backpack full of things. quite well, with a little headroom (see photo). It also has a taillight mount (light not included, don't believe the product photos).
