We used this brake controller on a Toyota Tundra to haul a 20 foot enclosed trailer from downtown Colorado to Austin, Texas. He had to work for the passage of two mountain passes in one direction and city traffic. The trailer was loaded with dirty bikes and gear and was very heavy. It was a solid load for my tundra to haul such miles over this terrain/roads. I even had to use it on snowy mountain roads and it was excellent. The brake control worked great. It was very easy and clean to assemble. I strongly recommend that every towing vehicle install a brake management system to prevent wear and tear on your vehicle's braking systems. It is very simple and easy to use. The kit came with good, detailed installation and operating instructions.
