Dangerous spills Suitable for cookware
When I received this kettle the first thing I naturally wanted to do was test it by boiling some water. Almost immediately I saw that it was leaking at the bottom seam long before the water boiled. I then got a spare, this time filling it with cold water and setting it on a glass plate to check for leaks before even putting it on the stove. After a few minutes it went on just like the first time (see photo). It may seem like a quality product, but a boiling water leak? The seller and/or manufacturer should take this egregious defect seriously as it obviously poses a burn hazard to anyone who uses it.
