Review on EFITMENT Indoor Cycle Bike, Magnetic Cycling Trainer Exercise With Belt Drive, LCD Monitor And Pulse Monitor by Kenneth Rich

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Probably the best bike for the money

First, I did not purchase this from Revain, but through the Zoovaa website. After finding the IC031, I decided on this, although less reviews purely for the RPM's on the computer. I think the $60 or $70 increase in the price for this is a bit ridiculous, but the reviews were so great on the 31 and it was still coming in under $500 that I went for it. I have been spinning for a year, but wanted to ditch the gym membership and have the convenience of spinning at home vs two days at the gym. Here is a good time to note, at my gym we use the Schwinn Carbon Blue, and incredibly sturdy bike coming in at just under $2000. The ICO33 is definitely NOT as sturdy. The first bike I got also made a clicking noise, and the first time I used it to do a heavy resistance standing climb, I immediately sat back down for fear of injury because something was definitely not right. I emailed the company with a video of all the weird noises and things it was doing. They quickly sent out a replacement bike, which I thought was going to be a nightmare to repackage the original, but I had the new one up and the old repackaged in about an hour. It took about a week to ship each. Customer service was fantastic and I was not charged for shipping for either of the bikes or the return. I have used the new one abut 10 or so times with no issues.Like previously mentioned, it's not as stable as the Carbon Blue, but it definitly is stable. The computer moniter seems fine except for the heart rate. I don't think that is accurate at all and the sensors are also weirdly positioned. Doesn't matter to me because I use a Fitbit for that. The moniter on both bikes is just the slightest bit off centered, which is just obnixious but nothing to do with accuracy. I do wish it would show a resistance number or power output or something like that. I also have not figured out how to reset the mileage, but since I am basically using it for RPMs and miles, I can do simple math to figure that out.Handlebars are nice and sturdy, which is one thing I was looking for. I didn't want any rinkie dink handlebars. You definitely have to have an IPad or some other tablet to use the table holder as it's much too far spread to use a smartphone. I don't have a problem with the size of anything and I am 5'2".My knees do hit the waterbottle holder occasionally when I am standing. It would have been better to put it at the handlebars, but they didn't ask for my opinion. The worst part about the bike is the seat. It is almost impossible to tighten it to keep it very secure. I feel like this is a HUGE design fault. Probably if not for that I would give it 5 stars. If you can get it tight enough, you better hope it's where it needs to be.Overall, I feel like it is a very good bike for the price. It is extremely quiet.as in almost no sound at all. I was spoiled by the Schwinn Carbon Blue but for a home bike at a decent price, this one is very nice. It is very easy to put together and move when I need to move it.
