This stuff has worked well for me. I put headers in my 90's body and it's almost unheard of. Due to the fact that it was a regular car and not a high performance car, I was worried about melting from heat. Well, so far this film protects everything well. A couple of my connector wires are actually touching the headers but haven't melted yet. The wrapping made inserting the head studs much more difficult. I found that I could twist the wrap back to loosen it to make room for the screws and then just twist the wrap until it was taut again. I recommend this product. I used 2 50' 2" rolls for 2 v8 headers and had lots of scraps and leftovers to use later to protect the material.
