Review on 🚪 Dorman 79344 Front Driver Side Exterior Door Handle for Toyota Models - Smooth Black Finish by Julius Robinson

Fits 2002 Tacoma with no problems. However, the handle is NOT OEM quality. The last one I bought lasted about 11 months. The problem is that the connection is not boosted because it is weak. You can't tell until it's installed with metal poles. I use the pin carefully, I pick the pin closest to the keyhole, that's where the "meatiest" plastic seems to be. In the cold (32 degrees), these handles break like brittle peanuts. I'd love to find a stronger door handle, but so far it's impossible without buying an OEM. All in all a good buy and a great price. Install it yourself, it will teach you a lot about the Tacoma door :)
