So I had to order a jumpsuit for my 3 year old girl - her daycare was dressing up like minions for costume day. Who would have thought it would be such a problem? To understand my 3 year old is 42 inches and 42 pounds. She is extremely tall for her age, still has a small tummy and typically wears 5T to 6/6x. It may not seem that difficult, but it is. After looking for a home I finally ordered this jumpsuit. The jeans are of good quality and have a little (minimal) stretch. The legs are loose, not skin tight, and the length is true to size. She went up in length to a 5/6 jumpsuit with no problem. The fall occurs at the top. The waist is tiny, it's not a 5/6 waist. As a result, she has to wear them on one side, probably unbuttoned during the day. It's not a big deal considering they're used for the costume, but she really likes them so I wish she could get more use out of them. Also, as mentioned in another review, it's more like a pair of jeans with a bib and straps sewn on at the waist. If the shirt underneath is not long, your stomach/underwear will be exposed. The straps are also unnecessarily long and difficult to tighten to keep the bib in place. Overall I wouldn't buy them for my daughter to wear regularly again as they don't fit her. However, they are very cute and would probably fit a lanky, skinny child very well. In addition, it is as mentioned in another review, more like a jean with a bib and straps, sewn on at the waist.
