I only have a few minutes but if I take the time to write a review you will know this is a terrible and very disappointing product with poor design! You better do it yourself! If it breaks, at least it's your fault, rather than trusting a company that secretly wants your tank to fail. where to start The mesh is too thin to let water and particles through without being trapped. I had to install another filter in the shielded side to prevent dirt from building up as dirt would slide through the sides and couldn't come back through the small holes. "Ephemeral" would be a huge understatement! before normal use, will not withstand manipulation by fish. The fish can easily break up and tamper with the screen to eat the fish or plants you may want to protect. Please follow your gut instinct and get a more reliable, higher-quality alternative. This is one of my biggest regrets to date! I'm stuck on it now :(
