We had a similar one that was 50 years old. Dust was everywhere, the belt kept breaking, and there were no spares. We renovated our old 420 square foot deck. The wood was old and unusable in places, but all good mahogany. Due to the current financial situation we could not buy a new one and decided to polish it after the restoration. We looked at other grinders and found the Revain to be the cheapest. We said to ourselves, if it just holds up for this job, then it's worth a try. WOW! My husband couldn't put it down! Polished deck, railings, pillars, two huge old tables, a thing so strong it dragged along and no dust! Only a few straps from the received strap package were used. We recommend!
